Mitosis/ Meiosis

Mitosis, the process of somates dividing, there are four steps: Prophase: The chromosomes form paired sets, the nuclear membrane dissappears, and spindles form. Metaphase: The chromosome pairs move to the center of the spindle formations, and separate. Anaphase: The daughter chromosomes move to opposite ends of the spindle. Telophase: The two different groups of chromosomes each have a nuclear membrane formed around them. The rest of the cell splits. Meosis is the process of a gamete dividing. Basically it goes through the process listed above twice, mixing some of the genetic material up which allows for variation among the resulting cells. I don't have those particular notes with me at the moment, but I will be going home tomorrow and promise to have a more detailed description by tomorrow nite. Kyle

What are the differences between mitosis and meiosis? Mitosis has four stage and Meiosis has eight stage.
What problems ca arise if either of these processes is not controlled properly?Mitosis. The process of somates dividings and meosis is the procsses of gamere
List three things you learned from this article in your own words. non sex cell and sex cell
What impact would the absence of this process have on the cell?anaphase
